Welcome to my blog!!! Recently I started to train for my first half marathon! Which race you ask? It will be the Long Beach Half Marathon on October 7th, 2012. And as I begin week 4 of my training, I feel the need to start a blog that records my training progress, advice I’ve been given by fellow marathoners (interviews to come!), what kind of gear I am using, recipes I love to make (and eat!), reflections on the process and some silliness thrown in for good measure! My current journey through grad school (for my masters) has inspired me to complete a marathon. Hence my title “Master’s to Marathons”. But first I need to prove to myself I can do a half 😀
